I plan to use this mini recycling pilot start-up as a tool to encourage, entrench and make trendy at the moral side of most individuals and communities that it is our collective social civil responsibility to manage the scarce resources so as to reduce and reuse waste generated from raw material.
The project is about creating Eco & adventure tourism community enterprise in a form of a theme park whereby women will acquire skills to use their natural resources sustainably, in order to create employment to boost their livelihoods. And also to improve local economy thus poverty alleviation.
Through books, apps & cartoons we tell the story of ‘Detective Dot’, an 8 year old female coder, who goes on global adventures to find out where all her *stuff* comes from e.g. her confused t-shirt who finds his roots in Uzbekistan via China. Dot inspires kids to ask ‘who made this?'.
