Changemakers Internship

Ashoka is the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs and changemaking institutions, with 3300 Ashoka Fellows, 200 Changemaker Schools and 35 Changemaker Campuses in over 90 countries. Ashoka Changemakers is an Ashoka program that rapidly accelerates the impact around critical social issues by building and nurturing networks of leading changemakers and empowering these networks to ignite sweeping change in their fields. Since our inception we’ve worked with several leading companies and foundations to build networks, share knowledge and channel investments in issue areas such as the future of work in Africa, children’s wellbeing in the United States and the evolution of human rights in South America.

All applicants must be flexible, self-directed, and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit. We appreciate interns who have excellent writing skills, good time management, are on task, outgoing and willing to learn new material. Most importantly, we want interns to support Changemakers’ vision, and be able to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their work while they are with Ashoka.

Our goal is to ensure every intern has an excellent professional development experience. We regret that we can only offer unpaid internships at this time. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but please keep the following recommended timelines in mind. Internships are 8-10 weeks in duration but exact dates of internships are flexible:
