Many villages in Palembang (South Sumatera) are near the river, the villagers sometimes don't have access to public service such as education. Even thought they have access but they don't have money, transportation is so expensive. This project try to rebuild a wood ship become a learning center.

What if thousand children around remote villages in Palembang can access a good learning facilities ?

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Good quality education service for children and youth in remote areas of South Sumatera still a big issues where government so far put their resources more on the city. For children and youth in the remote areas chances become educated is hard, because to get good education service they need to go to city, it's mean big money. Almost all of their parent are farmers, of course its a big issues for them.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

By modify a wood ship become learning center we hope we can reach the remote areas and make a good education service become accessible for children and youth in remote areas. What kind on learning that we will try to offer : 1. Green farming 2. Basic computer skill 3. National language course (some of them can not speak national language well, it will a problem when they want to get a job in the city or want to continues their study) 4. Library
