Project Summary
Elevator Pitch

Concise Summary: Help us pitch this solution! Provide an explanation within 3-4 short sentences.

App and network that uses a crowd source model with facial recognition software.
It brings moral recognition into public domain

About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

People need to become aware of the consequences of their daily actions and need to take responsibility for such. In a daily basis people engage in different behaviors that change the world around them. It is imperative that we all realize that everything we do has a reaction of some sort (some times positive and sometimes negative). After we understand the way our actions affect the world around us, it becomes of huge importance to take responsibility for such actions and effects.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

By publicly recognizing actions that have a good effect on the world, people can be encouraged to understand, interpret and repeat such behaviors. The solution will create a publicly available network where users can recognize others who take part in "responsible actions". With such recognition a list of users can be ordered by "responsible ranking points" thus motivating people to acquire more points (in order to rank better) by participating in ethical, moral, and responsible daily actions.
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

By developing and deploying a mobile app that uses facial recognition I intend to crowd source the recognition model. By using the app to "recognize" people and their actions, the users give a "+1 responsible point" to others. Everyone can contribute to the network. By developing and deploying a public website anyone can look up the information being uploaded and celebrate those who in a daily basis behave in a responsible way.
Sustainability

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Anyone can participate. The idea is that small actions should be recognized and everyone doing such actions should receive public recognition of such. The main challenge could be the fact that in order for this type of idea to work a facial recognition software may be used, but as long as they understand that it will only be intended for actions that already belong to public opinion then no privacy concerns should arise.

Social Impact
FOUNDING STORY: We want to hear about your “Aha!” moment. Share the story of where and when the founder(s) saw this solution’s potential to change the world.

It came to me when the +1 google button got deployed, rather than targeting websites I thought we should create a way to target people for their actions and by such letting people know we publicly recognize what they do as responsible.

Specify both the depth and scale of your solution’s social impact to date

It is still in idea phase but if developed and deployed it could work at a global scale in full depth.
By letting every single person on the planet target other people's actions we can motivate everyone to think about their own and the effect these have in the world.

What is your projected impact within the next 1-5 years? Is your idea replicable? If so, how?

The projected impact considers that everyone with a smartphone in the world can have access to the app and the network.
It even considers the idea that new smartphones will have the app built in the default configuration/software.

Business

What barriers have hindered the success of your project to date? How do you plan to overcome these and other challenges as you grow your solution?

It is still an idea. The first barrier is to fully create a plan that takes the idea into an active project stage and then continue with a plan for future success.

How do you see the information-technology and media sectors shifting over the next decade? How will your solution adapt to and/or drive that changing environment?

This solution will actually be the turning point of how individual actions are treated in an information based world.

Failure is not always an option. If your solution fails to gain traction in the next two years, what other applications of the idea could you explore?

Rather than deploying a global individual "responsible rank" a corporate model could be looked into. Same model and idea but the target would be business, corporations, government and institutions could benefit from this solution as well.

Expand on your selections, explaining how you will sustain funding

Further deployment of the solution will bring income and with such income further work can be achieved.

Tell us about your partnerships
What type of team (staff, volunteers, etc.) will ensure that you achieve the growth milestones identified in the Social Impact section?

Currently we have a limited team working on the idea (developer and public relations) but in order to achieve the milestones a full plan will integrate a dedicated team to bring forth the solution.

Please elaborate on any needs or offers you have mentioned above and/or suggest categories of support that aren’t specified within the list

Well, after all what we are asking for is for Changemaker's network of fellows and what we "bring to the table" is the fact that we are hard working people motivated and encouraged to live in a better world.
