Innopinion's platform has already been used for sustainable development, healthcare in hospitals, elderly care services for national level, for startup businesses, to enable developing country entrepreneurs to build more and better businesses with peer support, etc. The sky is the limit to what social innovation, crowdsourcing and the community effort can achieve, it's more of a matter of will and execution. Innopinion's campaigns change world one campaign at a time!
The idea has been executed and tested in various business cases and with paying customers. The barrier for success may be the small size of the team and its ability to scale the sales. Thus we are planning to introduce a reseller model where anyone could become a reseller. The threat that we see most potential, is the threat of being bought out early on, or that Google or similar major player conquers the market with their solution, and we don't have the muscles to scale up quickly enough. Also paten trolls are a potential threat, but we plan to patent parts of our solution in the near future.
Innopinion is partnering with several types of organisations; innovation consultants (e.g. Futuretournaments), NGOs/non-profit/charities (e.g. Swedish Care International, World NGO Day), and are hoping to build a partnering model for various organisations supporting social innovation, thus Changemakers are of great interest to us. We are building a reseller model where anyone could become a sales partner, to be launched spring of 2014.

The theme of each Innopinion campaign sets the rules of engagement and motivation to participate. Some campaigns are open & public for anyone to attend, some are internal or invitation only, and some have both options. This is part of the general settings of a campaign. Campaignwise people may report problems & potential solutions, new ideas, or feedback related to existing ideas, services or products. Innopinion tries to understand who the attendees are by asking them simple questions and giving a possibility to fill out a basic profile, which can be used as basis to target tasks evenly.

We wish to investigate the possibility to collaborate with other organisations building upon the possibility to engage people into asking for and giving feedback that can be used to further develop and solve the issues at hand. In Sweden the Swedish Care International used Innopinion to find, evaluate and develop new elderly care services, innovated by nursing students. The best ideas were taken further by collaboration partners and the winning idea is guaranteed to be executed for anyone to use.
With World NGO Day initiative the campaign is about collecting and evaluating ideas how to increase awareness of NGO sector's activities, and no matter how the campaign ends up, the process itself engages participants to invite new people and promote the campaign in social media. So the campaign itself already helps raise the awareness, but also the results are being used to benefit the aim of the campaign. So this is both a viral marketing and awareness raising as much as it is about finding new solutions and testing the potential of those.
So far the campaigns are being set up manually and offered as a service, we're building a self-service and value-adding reseller model where anyone could start running their own campaigns. The translations of content to each potential customer case require a lot of manual work and input, and as such we are all the time trying to find more scalable ways to do the translations. Real-time translations are extremely hard to come by.

Participants can at any time and any phase of the process get a timely full report of all the feedback their own ideas/feedback have gotten, just by a click of a button. The more people contribute, the more statistics and content they are shown.
