Ashoka, the Zermatt Summit Foundation, Fondation Guilé, DPD and Boehringer Ingelheim have launched this online collaborative competition to source, highlight and catalyze the most innovative co-creation projects in Europe led by social-mission organizations, traditional businesses and public institutions.

The competition Social & Business Co-Creation: collaboration for impact , developed by Ashoka, the Zermatt Summit Foundation, Fondation Guilé, DPD and Boehringer Ingelheim is looking for innovative Co-Creation projects in Europe led by social-mission organisations, traditional businesses and public institutions.

All social-mission organisations (e.g. NGO, association, not-for-profit, foundation, social enterprise), businesses and public institutions who work together to create change in Europe can apply. The competition deadline is April 10, 2014.

The 3 winners will receive coaching and a first prize of € 20,000, two runner-up prizes of € 10,000 and two early entry prizes of €1,000, and will be featured in prominent media. The prizes will be awarded at the Zermatt Summit on June 27th, 2014. When discussing the articulation of individual versus collective interest, general interest is usually referred to as carrying a fairly obvious content. However, one soon realizes that what they believed was a solid platform for consensus is in fact the place for important misunderstandings, each party defining it in its own way.
