Individuals, Foundations, Customers.
For the past 9 months we have established two main research partnerships: with the National Rehabilitation Center and Athens Center for Cerebral Palsy. We test our devices with users who have stroke/acquired disabilities and cerebral palsy respectively and get feedback from their families and therapists. Users engaged with the instruments for
extended time, the interaction was intuitive (we gave very minimal instructions to users) and we observed users developing skills throughout the course of sessions. Therapists of the center (physical therapists, occupational therapists and a music therapist) have been giving us very constructive feedback throughout the product development, and have been enthusiastic for our latest prototype versions.

This is a really impressive concept. Some considerations moving forward might be finding a medical institution to partner with or an organization or foundation that would develop studies around the tool. Scaling will be incredibly important to the potential impact.
Rehabilitation of something with updated and creative is really a good thought. I like the slogan line of your project. Thanks for sharing with us.
Dear Samantha,
Thank you for your comment and your feedback! Through our interviews we found that the advice of therapists and care-takers is crucial to convincing families for the advantages of our product. Moreover, every therapist and rehabilitation center takes care of a number of clients, so this indirect channel will be much more efficient that the regular go-to-market tactics. We have already started implementing this network strategy by establishing research and testings with 3 institutions and many therapists, and plan to continue doing so in the future. About the studies around our product, this is a great idea and it will boost our validation! We definitely want to conduct research on patient engagement in collaboration with established institutes, based on our prototypes. This will take place after the finalization of our beta (mid summer 2014).
Thank you very much!
I love the way how they have brought up this idea, Cool.
