About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

1.Among educationists ‘How to get kids to learn is more popular than looking how kids learn themselves, Funding agencies spend millions on developing educational modules rather than observing kids in their natural surroundings to see how they learn.2.Adult-directed(Prison-based system)do not instill skills and ideas but teach obedience and Doctrine.3.Over indulgence in Academics.4.followers are been produces instead of Innovators and leaders.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

So contrary to what schools do Researchers have long been proving about the freedom which is needed for the human soul to learn, explore and experiment. As pointed out by John Holt, Piaget, Maria Montessori and others, Free exploration/Play is the basis of all learning and it can only be possible when the environment is designed in a way keeping the Natural learning tendencies in children.Play is a way of grasping the new world, investigating new ideas, exploring the unleashed powers of the environment, examining the differences of facts and fictions, digging the strength of human potential. Our program includes;Uninterrupted large blocks of free exploration,Teachers an an Observers and facilitators,Mixed age group, discovery based learning
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

Our method is based on the philosophy of Plato, Dr. Maria Montessori, Peter Gray, which is based on the formula of Free exploration,Peace and collaboration. We believe on 'let children ‘pursue their interests as they evolve’, instead of forcing them into a strict ‘regime. It is like a Cosmic curriculum, where all the subjects are woven together.Mistakes are opportunities for learning to take place. 6.We focus on the ‘Senses’, through which all information is processed in a mind of a young child.Use of ‘hands on’ activities reinforces the discoveries the children are making as they interact. Our idea of classroom is scientifically prepared keeping (even the minute, sensitive and most neglected) needs and development of children in mind.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

To bring this unique change we equip teachers with a different set of skils. We train TEACHERS AS OBSERVERS;The teacher is always there not as an Instructor but as a Scientific Observer. We experienced that Children are capable of leading their own learning process. The learner has all the capacity to build and construct his knowledge, all in their unique way of interacting with the new concept. The teacher task is nothing but to touch the Imagination of a child so as to excite him to a level of Curiosity, and then the learner is ready to EXPLORE in his own way depending on his interest, experiences, and specific hidden talents. Exploration leads to Discovery; the ultimate goal of education. Our training model is changing the culture of schools and taking learning to its original model. Neuro-scientists, and psychologists are proving that play is the most natural way of learning.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

Our training program has successfully given the answer to SIR KEN ROBINSON's question,"“The fact is that given the challenges we face, education doesn't need to be reformed -- it needs to be transformed. The key to this transformation is not to standardize education, but to personalize it, to put students in an environment where they can discover their true passions.” Pakistan's education system is based on rote learning, violation of child's rights and intolerance. We are promoting Play to build a culture of TOLERANCE,respect, curiosity, freedom of expression and democracy at large.

Founding Story

It was a long journey of my teaching career as a Montessori Directress working with the age group of 3-6 years in a Mixed age classroom. I experimented the already authentic ideas and tried many Innovative ones. In the process, things were getting easier for me to analyze the program and the impact of the program on child development and learning. As I moved to my home country , I realized that the pathetic education system is just killing a generation of innocent children to the Point of No Return. So I started thinking seriously on my Long hidden Dream of Creating my own Structure of Education based on Natural laws of learning. With few dedicated people, I started the plan with conviction, dedication and Honesty.

Challenges: What challenges might hinder the success of your project and how do you plan to overcome them?

In the absence of any infrastructure of fund providers to this kind of work, its really difficult to catch donors to come up with funds.
Mindset of a common man who is not well aware of the changes taking place globally which is impacting our children and youth.
Iliitteracy is also one of the biggest challenge as Pakistan stands second with the highest number of Out of School children in the world.
With all this, we are still hopeful to go with the plan. We have awareness campaigns to support.
