Imagine a live participatory newspaper with its own youtube created by civil society and whose profits go directly to civil society. converts the need to disseminate and archive the activities, projects, reports or files into revenues and resources for any social organization (NGO, foundation or association). In other words, the communication tools of multinationals without intermediaries.

About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Civil society in all countries of the world is increasingly active. The traditional media are incapapable of showing the thousands of initiatives arising from civil society on a daily basis. In trying to solve access to finance for NGOs, foundations, universities, etc., will help thousands of these organisations to find a way to finance their projects; disseminating and archiving their activities in written form, video or geopositioning at precisely the moment when local, regional, national and European public administrations are reducing their allocations to civil society.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

A system that converts the necessity of any form of civil society (NGOs, foundation, association, university, platform, etc.) to disseminate and archive their news, actions, events, videos, streamings, reports etc into a form of obtaining benefits. A combination of newspaper-youtube for civil society enabling crowdfunding. Any citizen of the world may be enabled to donate to an institution or project from anywhere in the world. In fact the new design we are working on encourages the reader (whether they are private individual or legal representative) to donate and show the tax benefits to the donor for making this donation, even though the beneficiary NGO or foundation is in another country.
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

Any activity that arises from a group within civil society (NGOs, foundation, association, university, etc.) must be notified, disseminated and archived. has, since 2004 reported, disseminated and archived news, events and videos of 1200 institutions in civil society. One example: Amnesty International is one of the most active in Humania. In addition to disseminating news and actions; grants and resources are received for posting in Humania. Humania also shows what projects and achievements have been made through donations from readers Humania worldwide.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

Global Social Economy Experts confirm that this is a powerful model for the future. The Potential Impact? A youtube for civil society whose profits go directly to civil society; a Facebook for civil society whose profits go directly to civil society. We aim to create a model of social economy from the communication generated by civil society. Communications move millions in large companies. We must create a civil society model for civil society and, in the event that it generates millions, the money should go to civil society: Not to the investors who want their money back and then decide whether or not to donate to philanthropic causes, and at what percentage. Economics professors encourage us to create Humania Spain, Humania Mexico, Humania Ecuador, Humania Italy, Humania Norway, Humania Mozambique, ..... etc, etc..

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Ten years ago we heard from various specialists (senior UN leaders, policy makers, communication directors) who were not familiar with a model like Humania . They added that it was a useful and necessary tool. NGOs , foundations and social enterprises need to communicate and archive their news, events and videos and Humania is an ideal environment managed by a non-profit foundation guaranteeing transparency and which does not prioritize certain interests over others. The model, after 10 years, is considered successful, but will now add something new that is going to be yet more successful and applicable to everyone. The fact of publishing news and videos on Humania will enable institutions to get resources and income because the new Humania will encourage readers anywhere in the world (whether individuals or firms) to donate, invest or support any social institution in the world.

For the moment the collaboration between Fundación Mundo 21 and the New Branding Company has been smooth and perfect; creative and dynamic. However, we now have the good fortune of new senior figures who bring experience and innovation. A prestigious institution such as IUDESCOOP which analyzes social economy processes in many Latin American countries, and which has contacts in European networks that study cases of large and small solutions for the social economy, is a great ally. Furthermore, the ITI has developed technology solutions for numerous European projects such as ESA satellites or the automobile industry, food, construction etc, and want to apply their knowledge to this social project.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact. Please specify using qualitative and quantitative data (e.g. # of indirect and direct beneficiaries); help us understand how this solution truly makes a difference.

To date, has more than 65000 news, events, reports, videos and geopositioning from 1200 institutions in civil society. As of now there are two major objectives:
1) To raise Humania to European or global level. It is already a proven success.
2) To convert Humania into a donation system and worldwide crowdfunding that allows individuals, companies and institutions to support projects and donate money from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world; and - obviously - display, report, archive and catalogue the accomplishments that are achieved with the aid of Humania.

Funding: How is your project financial supported? [select all that apply]

Foundations, Regional government, National government.

Sustainability Plan: Has your project already reached financial sustainability? If not, what is this solutio’s plan to ensure financial sustainability? Do the main partners have enough stake to sustain the solution? If this project requires limited budget, how will other resources be secured to maintain or grow this work?

The new phase that Humania will enter will be funded by four different inputs
1.) Grants (local, regional, national, European and international organizations).
2) Banners of institutions with clear social content on .
3) Foundation Mundo 21 video production services and streamings which generate income.
4) Humania user institutions may use a service provided free of charge but may also use a premium service for 20 euros per month which allows the creation their own Humania; streaming systems themselves, sending files to media companys around the world, digital newspapers or even their own television . We should add that the model allows countries to apply for grants where Humania is set up: Humania Spain, Humania Mexico, Ecuador Humania, Humania Italy, Norway Humania, Humania Mozambique, ..... etc, etc. ..

Founding Story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that led the Partners to get started and/or to see the potential for this to succeed.

President Vicente Domingo of Fundación Mundo 21 has been director of information and news on television for 25 years. He has always seen that the traditional media (including the public) are not able to communicate the immense variety of actions and solutions that are performed by civil society. That was an urgent necessity and a problem. And now the new phase aims to turn an archiving and communication solution that is already a success with ten years of experience into a social economy model that enables money, resources and grants to civil society institutions of any kind.

About the Co-Creation
Barriers: What main barriers may you have encountered to co-create during the creation and implementation of the project and how did you try to overcome them?

Humania has not expanded further because it needed a very expensive and technological development. On the one hand, over the years, the prices of analysis, design and implementation of the necessary technology to enhance Humania have been lowered considerably. On the other hand the main barrier could be that thousands of institutions of civil society did not fully understand the possibilities and dynamics of Humania. Fortunately it is a scalable project that allows us analyze and review each phase to adjust and refine potential mistakes.

Governance: What is the type of the relationship between the partners? (e.g. joint venture, contractual relationship, joint project...)

Humania was created in 2004 by Fundación Mundo 21. After 10 years, they have shown interest in the economic model which institutions of great prestige propose, let alone a design company and Internet marketing. Under the direction and management of Fundación Mundo 21, the forthcoming new phase will seek to articulate a big technological project for civil society that generates economy in which the partners have a revisable contractual relationship.

Interaction model: How is the project a transformative partnership? How is the interaction transforming the partnering organizations and their employees/ leadership in terms of creating a new vision, new management practices, new skills and new organizational structures? Please provide for concrete examples

Humania is a project that generates hopes to all partners. Everyone from their area will provide the keys: Fundación Mundo 21 with the experience gained and the main strategic lines. New Branding with design patterns, programming, marketing and global positioning to par with other big successes that are known worldwide. IUDESCOOP with its social economics professors, teachers, scholars and students. In addition to an extensive network of contacts of social economy experts worldwide. And ITI with its extensive experience in high technology for projects much more complex than Humania's. Cloud generation processes, high-speed transfer, specific servers. Researchers and experts willing to develop their own processes for Humania and its own Social Economy model applicable to everyone.
