Just in US, every year, more than 10 million of presentation cards are produced and from those 8.8 million are thrown to the garbage. In Mexico more than 25% of the global paper usage goes to impression and writing uses.

I would like to implement Akard in the 3 main mobile platforms that exists (iOS, Android and Microsoft). For Android and Microsoft there are only two apps making only presentation card, without anything else (CamCard, free and charge). For Apple, there are 5 business card apps: Card Drop (free), Chirp (free), Cam Card ($0.99 usd), Full Contact Card Reader (Free to download, subscriptions starts at $9.99/month) and Linkedln (Free) but it is not exactly a business card App, just a professional networking website.

Historia fundacional

Everything started when I was driving my car and I needed the telephone of a supplier. I started looking for it on my smartphone but I didn´t find it and was also unable to remember the name of this supplier. As a result I asked myself what could be the best way to get the information. After some time I structured the idea and finally made some networking. Later, in an expo here in Guadalajara, I saw a technology based on cards and understood the ecology impact of using this technology. After that I realized that it was critical to provide a more fluent process of interchanging data, so I began studying the way of transferring the information by using only the hand. Finally when I had the product completed I saw a really big opportunity.
