An after school & summer program for high school students set on an urban farm in a 55- acre arboretum in the heart of inner city Philadelphia. Students learn and practice the skills needed to build their own social venture food businesses with other teens: urban grown & raised.

A 6 week work-study summer program for high school juniors and seniors from inner city Philadelphia to work with several volunteer business experts on an urban farm to create and package value added products from farm grown ingredients.

The Barrel Oven is an outdoor wood fired oven that is heats up quickly and can be used for cooking farm products, pizza and bread from our urban farm.
