The project includes three strategic lines:
1. Training- on topics such as citizenship, leadership, culture, motivation, health, sport. It will enable the education and the creation of awareness on different problems existing in the environments where these children and teenagers are involved thus working on self esteem and promoting spaces for discussion and analysis through participative methodologies.
2. Public events and spreading – It will provide visibility to the project and in a positive manner it will show the situation of children living on the streets. Championships, social fair among other workshops open to different sectors of the population will be held.
3. Nutrition and Health – A permanent health check will be carried out in children and teenagers who participate in the project, supplementing their diet (in general scarce and deficient) with natural products that enable their appropriate physical and mental development.
1. Happy children and teenagers, who have friends, family, ethical support, containment, self esteem, desire for personal development, with goals in life, vision, responsible individuals, loved people, with a strong spirit to defend life thanks to the acquired values.
2. Show the community and the country that there is a positive change in our children; show them that we must be agents of change and demonstrate that with a good team work like in “football” we will manage together to help these children to retrieve their childhood.
3. Healthy and Strong Children.
4. Creation of new life opportunities for children living on the streets. (Education, technical careers)
5. Development of different workshops (drama, dance, crafts) that help to develop different skills in children while combining sport activities.
6. Projection of new sport stars; in the case of finding a new talent he will join our teams.
First year: Sport Material for our children (uniforms, balls, cones, etc)
Second year: health Material (vitamins and deworming treatment)
Third year: Intakes for overnutrition. (Flour, milk, egg, butter, vegetables) among other possibilities to provide them with a balanced diet) since meals are cooked in the Tahuichi Academy.
It is true that there are problems but we believe that that there is nothing that can prevent it since success is achieved by solving problems in an immediate manner, with years of experience, good team work, willing and heart devoted to our job, we demonstrate that we believe in what we have and we participate our community since our results are evidenced by the smile of each children attending our Academy; our achievements can be measured in the behavior and attitude of our Tahuichis children.

We believe that good relationships are important since we consider that it is necessary to create a social aid network where we are to help each other, either providing financing through aid programs such as the “Grant with Tahuichi love” the possibility to sponsor a child in poverty with 10 dollars per month. On the other hand, aid not necessary implies financial aid, but in accordance with the production in the different fields, that is why we appreciate all those who individually or collectively collaborate with us.
Strengthen the spreading of the innovation in different media to communicate the important work that is being performed for the benefit of citizens in general.
Build strategic partnerships that strengthen the program by means of different sponsorships.
Create awareness in the community so that they can contribute with the integral education of our children and teenagers, providing human support, for retrieving into the community, collaborating as volunteers in the different trainings and workshops performed by children.
Achieve a solid team of professionals who selflessly contribute with training different home facilitators so that they can receive all the knowledge and carry out the different activities in their foster centers.
Six out of ten children and teenagers living on the street sleep on the street due to the insufficiency of foster homes and programs that motivate this group to get closer to centers that can provide them with human development alternatives. Almost all fathers and mother and most brothers of children and teenagers living on the streets are incorporated to the labor universe forced by the low income they earn. Thus, most members of the family are absorbed by the struggle for survival mainly concentrate on service activities and abandon their families and the guiding and socializing role which is fundamental for children development.
At the same time, almost all children and teenagers living on the street take some drug or have some kind of hereditary influence due to family consumption, both in the case of women and men, and in all age groups. As time goes by, this consumption on the streets is increasing both in terms of quantity and variety and it is creating an ever increasing dependency, increasing the addiction with the age of the individual, and in face of this institutional actions are insufficient top generate effective process of detoxication and detachment from drugs in the frame of an integral self improvement approach for children and teenagers living on the streets.
It is enough to walk along the streets of our city to see the number of begging children, wandering the streets, living in the canal; that is why Tahuichi Football Academy designed this program to help children to voluntarily live in foster houses, supplementing their education with our integral development program, by attracting them with what they like most, football.
In an environment where basic services, education and labor market are deficient, the participation of social inclusion activities, integral education and leadership activities do not exist or are not give the appropriate attention. In face of the reality of thee children and teenagers living on the streets, social sport is a very useful tool that bring children closer to opportunities and learning experiences with a methodology approach that generates no rejection, strengthening individual possibilities and introducing the individual into a team work and the society. Access to sport is seek as an alternative education method that generates development capacities in these teenagers and children, strengthening their self esteem, contributing with positive values that collaborate with the creation of a fair and supportive society based on respect for one another.
The Project was an initiative raised by the Center for Participation and Sustainable Human Development [Centro para la Participación y el Desarrollo Humano Sostenible (CEPAD)] its general director Barbery Knaudt was the visionary who relied on the practical experience of the Tahuichi Aguilera Football academy and the inter institutional cooperation agreement celebrated between both parties. By means of this partnership we managed to strengthen the work with children living on the streets by using Red Plataforma, a coordination instance with foster homes in the program.
