About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Solves the vehicular pollution problem, which cause 1.3 million of death in the world, our solution brings health and life quality.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

We design a filter which reduce considerably (90%) the contaminate gases produced for the vehicle’s tailpipes, according to world health organization, these gases are causing respiratory diseases such as asthma and even worse lung cancer. Our Filter is Eco Friendly and disposables made of renewable raw materials, it doesn’t required complicated manual or instructions, anyone can use it, it works as a muffler as well reducing the noise pollution, it doesn’t affect the engine or the vehicle performance.

Currently in negotiations with India to implement the project with the tuk-tuks, highly polluting vehicles, besides we have product orders in Chile and Venezuela. For the Future the goal is to implement Cocumo as a public policy and every automotive brands applies it.

The filter would be sold at 25 USD and is made of disposable materials, whereby the costs are not high. the profits of the product is constantly reinvested to ensure the sustainability and growth of the project.

The Japanese are developing an ecological fuel, meanwhile China is creating electrical cars, but no one attacks the problem of pollution caused by traditional petroleum fuels vehicles (petrol or Diesel fuel).

Founding Story

Because of the pollution problem in the congested city of Caracas, the young Daxon Venegas it felt overwhelmed with the contaminate gases that embrace the city, driving his motorcycle he wasn’t be able to breathe freely, he detects the problem and had the idea to create a filter for vehicle’s tailpipes, using disposables and uncommon material as coconut fiber, he creates Cocumo an innovative project that pretend to solve the pollution issue, with this project Daxon participates in an ecological competition directed by important international organizations such as YABT , OAS , WorldBank and PepsiCo in Panama City and he won the Eco Challenge 2015, since this continues developing this project


Daxon Venegas, CEO, 11 years of experience in business management, and creator in different fields. He has a professional team working part time, chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, industrial engineers, graphic designer, international lawyers, and full-time staff workers. While investments grows , the team grows in quality and quantity.

Currently CEO of Daxon Gourmet which is a company that provides Consulting and Development of new food products, Kimura Sauces a Japanese brand line of gluten free and low in salt products, and also Cocumo Foundation responsible for the development of new technology in the environmental area. When he was 18 years old he managed his own restaurant at 19 years of age and had to charge more than 84 employees, so he was gaining knowledge in the management area. Besides that he has a certified in social-business leadership, he develops his carrier as am inventor creating his own machinery and discovering new ways to make his inventions a dream come true. Throughout the time he has started several businesses and at present he offers entrepreneurship lectures at universities, foundations and NGOs. It is worthy of mention that he is black belt in martial arts so he Thinks that discipline and consistency are the key to a successful business.

Beyond your existing team, who else are you working with to achieve your objectives, eg partners, advisors, mentors?

First at all self-financing from my own businesses, on the other hand I’ve received seed money from the Eco Challenge awards 2015 in Panama City, I have mentors from different foundations such as "Futuro Presente foundation" in Venezuela.
