Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Most blind people in Palestine are facing problem to fellow their course in university, buy their won product buy them self without walking in the market, They also face many problem to read story, news, improve their self buy study online, In other side, Most screen reader are expensive and they can not buy it, And when they try free one, unfortunately it dose not support Arabic language.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

First of all, 1-Teach them how to use Computer, internet, IT tools that built especially for blind. 2-make a strong relation with local university and international university to provide their lesson in Audio files and allow to local blind community to access their especial computer lab. 3-Explain to the university and government to benefit of web Accessibility. 4- Built compatible web site and Phone application with blind people, which allow them to access their lesson, read news. 5- Built a compatible e-commerce site with blind people, which allow them to buy their product without going to market.

In Palestine everything is going different in other world, usually move to one city to another city is difficult because checkpoint, So blind student lose their university because they afraid to go to their university, moreover, it hard too to blind to move in the city to buy product, since our country dose not provide facilities to blind people, our website, will provide to them their university lecture, our local news, and international new, commercial product, Finally, collaboration with free screen reader in order to provide Arabic language.

In Palestine, there are many blind people who lose their chance to attend university, buy with themselves, know what is going around the world. At this initial stage we collaborated with one university in Palestine and we established a blind computer lab it has digital library digital device such as Laptop, MP3, Cds, with installing a special technology allow to read transcribe books , which allow the blinds students to hear their book through Laptop, MP3,CDs. Record international novel, story in audio device. Secondly, Develop a web site compatible with blind people, which allow them to share their idea, books, information with each other, allow them to sell and buy their product.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

First of all, talk with all local blind organization, and school in Palestine about our project, and have chance to present our project to blind people in Palestine. After that we are looking to share our idea with international blind organization and allow blind from all the world to join our site and application.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

We got grant from Australian Direct Aid Program 11,000 $, and with collaboration with one university we establish our semi digital blind lab. it has many university audio books, laptop, Mp3. And next step we looking to ask non profit organization to help us for fund.

There is no application, web site provide educational, audio story to blind people, Moreover, In Palestine all e-commerce site dose not support web accessibility to allow blind people to buy or sell their product.

Once I teach blind girl who was studying History how to use Youtube. In that time when she learned how to use it, she told me how normal people getting bored or fall in their university course, and she stared to thank me as i return to her sight. In that time I started to learn all IT topic related with blind people.
