About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

This project is trying to address the problem in three main areas. One is to meet the buying capacity of underprivileged persons in Pakistan, Second is to raise a good revenue and run this social enterprise sustain-ably with very low investment, third is to enhance the emotional attachment of elite class with the lower class.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

This project is proposing the solution in the form of a Good Will Store. This store will perform in three forms. First, This Store will provide households. Second, this store will collect donations in the form of households which can be mostly one time used like cloths, Kitchen items, stationary, Tables, Chairs, Cupboards, Beds, and sheets. Third, this idea will make a sense of emotional attachment for the lower class with in Individuals, families and groups. This will impact the environment in a way to make things re use able instead of throwing in garbage while mostly population is not having good city cleanliness system. Lowest classes will have a feeling of respect while they are paying for their need and not just receiving donations.
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

This solution is making a difference in advanced countries as fundraisers for non profit companies, The Salvation Army is raising its funds from all over the world with this idea. Unfortunately, this idea is not applied in Pakistan before, although The masses and economical environment demands for this idea to be executed. Pakistan has a concept of Landa Bazar, which is cloth market with low prices. But masses don't only need cloths, they need other households. This solution makes a networking among all social classes as its primary activity.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

This project produces an impact of Social Corporate Responsibility not only among companies rather individuals and groups. It saves many things going into garbage and many things can be used without going into recycling process which are not recycle-able. It does not deficit the self esteemed of lower classes for they are buying things and not just receiving sympathy.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

Our spread stagy is to first make collaboration with individuals, groups, families, profitable companies and non profit companies who are working among the masses on grass root levels but do not offering any income generation. In following years we will expand outside of Lahore and from there we will continue expanding it throughout Pakistan. We will prefer to open our stores in rural areas so that it would be more approach able. We will make collection centers in Cities for those who want to contribute anything so that it could be accessible for them.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

we will make our mobilization more fast and accessible for every individual, groups and companies. We will form collections centers so that we might not pay to rigger teams. Our consumers would be our big source of revenue. Will prefer to serve our consumers with best goods so that they could have best at very nominal prices. We would prefer to engage more and more volunteers with us so that we could save more money for reinvestment.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

In Pakistan Lanada Bazar and Juma Bazar are introduced and sustaining successfully with a good history. These markets are offering mostly used things. Our idea is more different from the current approach. We offer every kind of used and new households with a very nominal price and It also presents an opportunity to those who are willing to contribute in the society on local lever. Landa bazar is mostly come from foreign aid. Our idea is to support the local community by the support of local community.

Founding Story

The founding story lies on my personal experience of working with the local non profit organization and the masses of Pakistan on grace root level and the urgent need of them to be accessible to the households. this idea also present a solution to the non profit organizations to generate local funds to operate the operations sustain ably without further funds from donors.
