Project Summary
Elevator Pitch

Concise Summary: Help us pitch this solution! Provide an explanation within 3-4 short sentences.

- The cultivation of Sea/Ocean species
- With more focuses on the cultivation of sea/ocean species with a big market share
- The species are not taken in the ocean but rather cultivated anywhere
- The cultivation is not done in the coastal area its commonly done

WHAT IF - Inspiration: Write one sentence that describes a way that your project dares to ask, "WHAT IF?"

"WHAT IF the ocean and its entire species can be relocated to any part of the world?”
About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

- The Project is addressing the strained fish resources that are diminishing in our sea/ocean - Taking ocean/sea to any part of the world - That way even those not within the coastal areas can access the sea/ocean - Fresh water species do not have a big market share - Food security issue is also address as fish is cultivated - Fish is not sourced from polluted - Promotes Agro-processing and creates employment in the process

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

- Cultivating sea/ocean fish instead of relying on what is you catch on the sea - Fresh water is modified to match the sea level - The rate, size and quality of the fish cultivated is control

- We were part of the Technology Youth Innovation Fund program under the Technology Innovation Agency - Innovation Hub program: Biosciences 2013
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

When Ocean and its resources is relocated to any part of the world ● Even those in the In-lands accessing this “Ocean/sea” ● Then harvesting sea species will empower those fisherman that are left out because on the Quotas that the government has imposed

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

Price of fish will be affordable and as part of healthy eating diet diseases wont affect the population

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

The partnership we have formed with Wits School of Chemistry will enable us to figure out the Scientific formula to quantify salt that matches the sea level ● The Technology Innovation Agency has a budget that fund the commercialization of idea ● And once the patent stage has been established then they will come in as a funder

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability? : Once the patent stage has been established, there is a Government budget that works specifically with the commercialization

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

: Tilapia Africa is largely focused on the freshwater species otherwise they also do aquaculture ● Another Aquaculture is conducted in Coastal

Founding Story

We were part of the Youth Technology Innovation Fund and we decided to establish our idea after the government decided to impose quotas in our oceans after it our established that fishes are highly decreasing and price of fish was swelling, as the result most fisherman were becoming unemployed and it was driving them into poverty
