No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Clean Water and Sanitation, Decent Work and Economic Growth.
MiF works with several Key strategies including "Redemptive Lift" (empowerment), in 2014 we carried out our first ever empowerment programme to empower people.our target was women in rural communities with the help of some friends who are skill acquisition experts we where able to empower 7 women with fashion designing, 3 women with bead making and cosmetics (local soaps & makeover) and 16 women with catering.these women are well established and are in turn empowering others as well and once again the ripples effect was achieved.
MiFs Community Development program (*engage *learn *grow) every 4 months MiF has open positions to participate in the community development leadership program and become a community partner where community partners receive a #20,000(Naira) stipend upon completion of a 10 week long community development leadership program, in addition to the stipend, interns are provided with dinner every Monday-friday and provided with MiF t-shirts, wrist bands e.t.c although housing is not provided by MiF.
