At the Negev region in the south of Israel, there were about 7000 families of which 90% of them make their living from agriculture. In recent years there has been a diminution in the agricultural sector and today many families are in financial difficulties. planting Marula fruit will yield high returns to the farmer. In addition, They stated that they were happy and their energy levels increased.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

in Southern Israel today there are about 80 acres of fruit that generate about 100 tons of fruit. So far we have produced hundreds of bottles of juice that anyone who uses them shown that the bad cholesterol levels in the blood decreased, good cholesterol increased and they feel better since they started drinking the juice. We plan to grow in the coming four years, about 1,500 acres that generate 7500 tons and 3000 tons of fruit juice.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

In terms of long term growth, we believe that people around the world are always looking for new ways to feel the best they can. health products are common around the world and people are looking for healthy food and non-processed and non- industrialized. We are planning to export our products to Europe and Asia, and possibly the United States. according to the UN Charter, apart of South Africa and Israel- the fruit cannot be grown anywhere else in the world. The Company's operations will raise consciousness about the fruit in the world and we will fight for fair trade in South Africa.
Sustainability

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

Today, philanthropic foundation wants to invest in the growth of the fruit in Israel. We focus on investing in the future- growing more fruits and processing the available fruits that there are today. The main activity now is to establish Collaboration with existing juices factory where we will manufacture the juice. We plan earning annual revenue from the first juice sales -about 850,000 $ by the end of 2016.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Today, in order to fight conditions like high cholesterol, people consume "Statin" drugs That can create serious side effects. To raise the level of energy people consume artificial soft drinks with sugar and chemicals that destroy their health. Farmers are looking for new growing cultivars so they could able to earn a decent living. We offer growing a healthy fruit in order to Produce products to users that contribute their health and can prevent symptoms and diseases in a natural way.
