Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.
I went out once with a client in his car before he became our client. During the ride, I noticed some irregularities in the performance of his vehicle so i offered to take his car to our partner mechanic workshop on his behalf while he goes on with his work at the office after the outing. He agreed and we fixed the problem with his car more than he expected and quickly too. Only for him to inform me afterwards that that has been a very difficult issue that he has been working hard to fix but found it reoccurring.
so we took off the burden of thinking about his car so he can concentrate on work and so be more productive and have more time to himself as well.
Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.
Sendmi is a new project that began operation on the 4th of November 2015 so there isn't a measurable impact but from the few clients we have interacted with, we have been able to convince them that we can keep to time while we deliver quality as against the general orientation of the Nigerian service deliveries where practitioners don't meet deadline nor do they see it as a big deal not to meet deadlines. also, in the words of some of our clients, few though at the moment, we offer real value for money as we ascertain that our clients get what they are paying for and much more so as to revive integrity and qualitative service delivery
Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?
Our main goal is to deliver quality service while we save time for our clients. In order to achieve this, we have set up strategies for quality deliveries. Some of these strategies at the moment include partnering with vendors who offer these services and meet the best standards available in order to enhance our effectiveness. And as we grow, Sendmi's target is to own these service outfits in order to deliver more effective and qualitative services. At this point, we would have succeeded in correcting the mindsets of Nigerians that quality and timeliness can go hand in hand.
Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?
We have sourced funds for start up from personal fund, friends and family. Clients pay a token for the services we render so we will be getting the major part of our financial sustainability from fees we get for service. We also have plans to open up to investors but that will only be after we have made results that can convince such investors that Sendmi is a good investment worth their money and investment
