When people donate an object that they do not need anymore, they can use Ugift to find local recollection centers. After the good is registered, Ugift will classify it and use algorithms to find out where those goods can have a higher impact, either by saving high costs or by special needs. Once Ugift knows the best destination, it will match potential travelers who have already registered their future trips. Those travelers will then receive a notification about a new ‘gift’ which they can deliver while doing their planned trip, if accepted, Ugfit will send the picking instruction and final destination coordinates, which mainly would be other NGO recollection center, who wiill finally be in charge to deliver the good where it is needed.

Ugift project is in process to be launched, since it is in developing phase. However, the future impact is the Ugift network, the first global donation network, to connect donors, NGOs and people in need. The main purpose is to reduce poverty by empowering education, and a responsible consumption and production by reusing many stuffs. The impact will be high since everyone will be able to help to transporting or donating valuable stuffs using technology during their trips.
To avoid transportation of illegal stuffs, Ugift won’t allow donors and recollection centers, to know about or control the final destination, only Ugift and traveler will know it. After the receiving NGO gets the donations, pictures can be send to donors and travelers to connect all the volunteers related to the to the delivery.
Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?
Main strategy is keep contacting NGOs, government and people to create a campaign to call to action. The campaign will focus especially on social networks, focusing profiles of potential donors and people who travel often. The launch will be global since its a cloud based platform, however the first campaign will be focus on US and European as donors countries. And receiving centers in Latin America or Africa, which will be the receivers in during the first phase. Building strong relationships with NGOs is key to spread a confident word of recollection centers worldwide making donating easier.
