Club “Women for Harmony” is a non-profit organization founded in Riga (Latvia) in March 2011.
The Club was established to advance the position and significance of women in civil society, business, politics, media and academia by providing a real voice for them in a time of change in the World.
Club provides information, support services, community-based training opportunities for women of all ages and backgrounds to support them in their effort to maintain their personal and social identity, self-esteem and to inspire them to success. Seniors are the general part of our clubs members.

Our partners take an active part in all of our projects: public conferences, exhibitions of works made with his own hands, in charity concerts and performances. They also participate as spectators and as active participants. Seniors sing in the ensemble and perform solos. They hold master classes during the exhibitions.
We implemented 6 projects with social welfare department of the municipality of Riga. Urban media regularly informed about the work of our organization: write articles in the city and national newspapers, informed by radio and television. The main obstacle may be a passive participant in the project. This will require a serious and responsible work of our volunteers. Our programs must be carefully considered. We have to prepare interesting presentation of the project and colorful visuals. This will require a certain material costs.

Organizing and conducting numerous activities: concerts, public conferences and exhibitions. This has allowed to become popular in the community and attract new volunteers and helpers. Among the members of our organization are many educated people of various professions with more experience.Professional consultants from partner organizations and municipal departments to help us realize our ideas.

The project involved 50 people: 30 seniors and 20 young people. In the final charity concert involved 130 performers. There are seniors from partner organizations, children and youth dance and vocal groups.The audience, about 1,200 representatives of seniors, the disabled communities, orphans, needy residents.Through the media about the project will learn about 200,000 residents of Riga. Following a similar social project may become more numerous and more significant.

We have branches in different parts of Latvia. Implementation of our projects is important for the national area.
The main objective of the project is to establish friendly relations seniors and youth.Our main task is to convince them that seniors are useful to society, young people need their experience and skills, they can expand their social circle and diversify their leisure.
The project fosters respect for the youth to seniors. Seniors expand their circle of friends, meet new people, do not feel alone.Young people an opportunity to learn a lot about the history of his people, the customs and folk crafts. Learn about the capabilities of the National Library and the many museums, raise their cultural level.Our project has a systematic approach to the problem of relations between members of different generations, raising mutual respect, tolerance and humanism.
