The "e-Senior Service" Description Ideas The e - Senior Service's long-term goal Foruma50 +. Starting points:  UN Convention on older people  Digital Agenda (European Commission: Digital Agenda for Europe,  Digital exclusion of the elderly (In Croatia there are 1.2 million inhabitants -17.4% over 65 years, and the 2060th will be more than 30%., Of which only about 2% have the basics of computer literacy)  Vision: - Socially and environmentally-friendly products and services  Mission  Active aging  New Employment  Objectives strategic Goals  Ensure NET future for seniors  Digital empowerment and support to the elderly recruitment of younger people;  Employment elderly specific objectives  Promoting digital literacy elderly  Providing e-services and technical assistance to the elderly in the e-clubs where 65 +  Training of unemployed people to "e-Senior Assistants"  Elements Program  E-Klub65 + (in implementation) - ITC training, - E-services, - Technical Services  SenioNet - E-Learning  Senior expert (in implementation) - "Sales ¨ knowledge and experience of older people  New technologies and communications innovations for the elderly - Increasing knowledge about the features and benefits of elderly people in Europe travel by train and plane  Senior College - E-Senior Assistant; - E-Senior Therapist

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

So far, we and other organizations and institutions spent ITC education elderly in classrooms with computers and advance the anticipated program for all users, regardless of their background. The innovation consists in the following: E-Club 65 + (implementation of 2013). - The e-klubu65 + "e-Senior Assistant" performs ITC education and e-services (payment obligations, e-health, e-government, e-banking, e-citizen, e Library, applications, courses e-government, e-cadastre, laws, school enrollment, e-learning and social) for seniors who can not for various reasons (illness, poverty, disability, be computer literate) and the distance from home to assist the elderly to use the computer for the elderly. And technical services (assistance in the procurement and repair of computers and mobitela.Educirali are over 500 elderly classic, but everyone has a problem at home over the use and no one to turn to. Now that e-assistant) SeniorExpert (in implementing the 2013th) is a service providing instruction in mathematics for high school students recruiting retired teachers E-Senior therapist will remotely electronically provide psychophysical help elderly
Impact: How does it Work

Sustainability

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Other organizations that deal with ITC education elderly have low attendance because older people do not have money (the course has a cost of about 300 EU). Organizations that have grants for education ITC have group courses for all students regardless of their level of knowledge of the candidates. That's what we had in the beginning but we are interviewing participants adjust instruction in small groups of 4 participants with the same knowledge. In Croatia so far in this area conducted several projects: - E Citizen (http://www.odrazi.org/klub-e-gradanin/) and - ITdesk.Info - project of computer e-education with open access (www.ITdesk.info) - Project EGOV4U (E-government for you / (http://www.egov4u.eu/Pages/default.aspx) The "e-Senior service is different from the above because: - New employment of young people - ITC training performed according to the needs of the elderly - Provides e-services for the elderly - Provides technical assistance to the elderly
