We are excited to welcome you to the 2023 Prudential Emerging Visionaries Summit! You represent one of 25 exceptional young people from across the country who are being recognized for creating meaningful change in your communities and beyond. The Summit will be hosted at Prudential headquarters in Newark, New Jersey from Saturday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
The Prudential Emerging Visionaries Summit is an all-expenses-paid trip covering you and one parent or guardian. Winners will also receive coaching and mentorship from Prudential and Ashoka employees and ongoing skills development opportunities.
We want to celebrate you! This Summit is an opportunity to be supported on your changemaker journey and recognized for the hard work and impact you are leading.
We have an incredible lineup for you. At the event, you will have the chance to meet and collaborate with the other winners, including international recipients, in both large and small groups, learn from experts in entrepreneurship and hear from our celebrity keynote speaker (to be revealed to you in April). Winners in the Financial Solutions category will have an opportunity to participate in a pitch-off on the main stage, where one winner will receive an additional $10,000 for a total of $15,000 in funding. In addition, we will have an Awards Ceremony to officially recognize your accomplishments as a 2023 Prudential Emerging Visionaries winner.

We are so close to the Prudential Emerging Visionaries Summit! Thank you so much to everyone for completing the required forms and providing the requested information! It was a lot to navigate but you all were champions through the process. A few more things to note before you get on your way to the summit.
Step 1: Read the Know Before You Go Email (sent out 04/08). | This includes information about: flying and driving Instructions, transport to and from the hotel and airport, and agenda call-outs.
Step 2: Pack! Check out the suggested packing list in the FAQs. Please keep in mind that Ashoka will not cover any checked bag fees. We ask that you bring everything you need as a carry-on item.
Step 3: Take COVID test before departure! | In keeping with our Health and Safety Protocols, a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test is required on the day of departure. Please take a COVID-19 rapid antigen test, which will be provided to you and your parent/guardian and send us a text message to 571-622-1066 confirming your result.

Step 5: Register for the Summit upon arrival | Prudential Emerging Visionaries Summit registration will be open from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, 4/22/2023. For anyone arriving to the hotel prior to 10:00 AM, please proceed to the front desk and check in to your room. Starting at 10:00 AM, please come straight to Emerging Visionaries Summit registration desk, in the lobby, to pick up your event credentials and your hotel room keys. Once you pick up your event credentials, you will proceed to take your onsite COVID testing. Everyone that arrives before the scheduled registration time must also register once registration opens.
