LAB AGENDA

Both Participants and Chaperones will get the chance to take part in many fun and engaging activities while attending the T-Mobile Changemaker Lab. You can find a breakdown of the week below: 

Important Note: This schedule is tentative and subject to change. Participants are expected to be present and attend all activities to ensure a smooth and community-driven experience for everyone.

BEFORE THE LAB

This is your guide to everything that needs to happen before you get on your way to the T-Mobile Changemaker Lab! Please take note of the due dates:

Step 1: Invite your  Chaperone & Teammate | Who will you bring to the Lab as a teammate and chaperone? Let us know by filling out this FORM so we can send them all the necessary information, information session dates, and registration forms. Remember, your teammate must meet the eligibility criteria for the Challenge. Learn more about eligibility here. Your chaperone must be 27 years or older. Invite your teammate & chaperone here. 

Step 2: Event Registration Form | Register here by 8/8
Look out for an email with a link to the Changemaker Lab registration site from our event team, Augeo. The link will come from T-MobileReg@augeomarketing.com. Can’t attend? Please contact Melissa from the Ashoka Team at mobami@ashoka.org to discuss sending an alternate team member (ages 13-18) to attend in your place.  Due to COVID restrictions and to keep an equitable experience for everyone in attendance, this is a closed event. No additional guests will be allowed to join us at the hotel, in our sessions, or at meals. Thank you for understanding!

Step 3: Attend the Lab Info Session | To address your questions, join one of the information sessions about the Changemaker Lab. Teammates, parents, guardians, and chaperones are welcome to join, too. 

Both sessions will cover the same content, so take your pick:   

• Monday, July 31st, from 7 – 8 PM ET / 4 – 5 PM PT. Register here.   

• Friday, August 4th, from 12 – 1 PM ET / 9 – 10 AM PT. Register here.   

If you cannot attend one of these sessions, do not worry! We will send out a recording and can answer all of your questions.   

Step 4: Sign the Permission/Consent forms | These will be sent by the Ashoka Team via Adobe Sign. Stay on the lookout for these forms!

Step 5: Travel Booking | We will send you your travel booking once you and your parent/guardian have registered.

Step 6: Mentorship Program | You will be assigned T-Mobile mentors! Your mentors will reach out to you to schedule the first meeting and guide you through the process. There is nothing you need to prepare besides following up when they reach out. 

Step 7: Pack | A suggested packing list is included in the FAQ page. We will send regular updates before the Lab by email, as well.
