The FEEL Africa Academy aims at initiating children between the ages of 7 to 14 to leadership basics so that they discover and learn about what leadership is with more emphasis laid how the can become Exemplary Role Models in communities (homes, schools, etc) & the importance of showing Empathy.

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

In Sénégal it is a common observation that during public university strikes, our youths are the ones on the forefront destroying and burning public transport buses or street lights that are meant for public use.We can go on listing many of such cases, which only go a long way to portray the issue of lack of civic engagement and awareness and absence of quality leadership within our youths.There are certain values that when learnt at a very earl

This project aims at developing a younger generation (aged 7 to 14) of Africa’s leaders of tomorrow,today. It will provide an environment conduicive for these children to discover,learn and act as good leaders that they should be. All children are born equal, but it is our environment to which we are exposed that defines and determines the values with which we grow up.It will create that open space that will serve as the foundation for this younger generation to identify and choose between those behaviours that are key for becoming a change agent. As quoted by Oprah Winfrey, ‘’Leadership is about empathy. It is about having the ability to relate to and connect with people for the purpose of inspiring and empowering their lives''.
