About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

It is the intention of the project to be able to help children as they are the hope of the future. If they are the hope of the future then it is necessary that at this stage in their lives, they be developed physically, spiritually and emotionally in their growing up stage. The children need to learn to respect and appreciate others different from their religion and culture so in this way they can contribute to social change.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

The proposed solution is to educate the children, let them feel that their rights are respected, they are being taken cared, and for them to develop tolerance towards others, they be given formation on peace, nonviolence, culture while they are in the said home.

The children are given formation on nonviolent communication to be able to communicate in a way that natural giving is possible and that they are able to connect with one another without blaming each one.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

For now, the project is helping 16 children coming from different cultural backgrounds and religions.

This project requires budget to sustain the needs of the children and the proponent will continue to solicit funds from those who are willing to donate and at the same time look for other possibilities in order that the project in the long run will be self sustaining.

Founding Story

Seeing the many faces of pain and suffering of people affected by calamities especially its effect on the children, the experiences brought about by animosities among Muslims and Christians in Mindanao where the founder resides inspires her to establish the project in the hope that starting with the children, there is a great hope for peace if not at this time, for the future generation.
