Quote - Nelson Mandela 1999. Our country is faced with a growing problem of substance abuse. This has serious implications for the millions of citizens because it contributes to crime, domestic violence, family disintegration and other social problems. This National Drug Master Plan will strengthen our efforts to stamp out drug abuse and its associated problems in a holistic and coordinated manner. This National Plan has not been effective in addressing the problems we face as our current crime stats show.

Founding Story

South African society and schools are experiencing a moral and social crisis. This is evident in the social ills that are experienced on a daily basis and also backed up by Crime Statistics. We need to change the values and mindset of our children to become clear sighted and responsible for the choices they make and the Path of Discovery Process will achieve this. The Substance Abuse Awareness Education section of the workshop leaves a very definite impression on the learners and also equips them with the knowledge to make an informed decision. We have addressed over 900 learners on Drug Awareness, Crime, HIV & AIDS, and Teenage Pregnancy. The feedback that we have received from the learners and Principals has been very positive
