A group of 60 women engaged with community development because of low employement index. New project to create a new rural turism route at El ROMERO town. We already count with mud houses, goatkeepers, vegetables and crops an antique manor house we would like to keep as a new rural museum.

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

lack of authorities interest and capacity to imagine a new scenario. Youth and children poor schooling average. Rural workers. lack self esteem and poor motivation. No money resources to participate in formation. No experience selling services.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

Generate a new formation instance, develop new tools to work with services (english classes for youngsters) , create a new focus interest such as the rural museum to validate rural traditional jobs and historical abilities and give a new point of interest for this community. generate a social mesuring tool to identificate needs and potential resources already existing in community.
Impact: How does it Work

We could gather around an idea. Roasted Goat Feria so as to generate a genuine income for women living in Lambert community. Arranged and fixed for the feria were would only work Lambert`s Women so as to increase income for the community. We have to continue working for the tourists generating new income and get people from other cities to visit us.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

Impact now: of a small town of 2400 inhabitants everyone involved trying to better own living conditions. Challenge for the future? take sustainable development to other near towns the same size and nearby but also isolated from bigger developed cities and increase studying opportunities for young girls and boys. Avoid younger going to live and study and then work far away from their homes.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

A new rural biosustainable route developing new atractives for turists all over the world Living in at rural homes, new and more income for more than 10.000 families, new formation for young and children people living there. No need to move to big cities to be employed, women empowerment, new tools fo work such as english language, communication skills, publicity, natural life, knowledge oral transmission of rural traditions, value for costumes, bird watching, trekking, biking, walking , photo tours , living in turists.... rural museum for community today inexistent, organic crops cultivation

on demand reagarding touristic promotion, community , NGO, Selling services such as horse riding, walking tours, trekking etc.

the main focus is put on the rural museum creation Property antique manor house already existing. Community needs and new tools for working.

Founding Story

This rural community in Chile created a Civil Association where 30 engaged Women began to think small solutions to engage more women and generate more income and quality projects for their homes. Nowadays they are already 60 women almost single and with supporting their own children and helping otrhe communities in the nearby
