About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

As the current situation of chaos, lawlessness, increasing level of extremism and resulting violence is making society more worse and disorganized. The most tragic and awful situation is that collectively everyone is paying considerable attention to the basic education of their children but the most important and obvious thing for the Development and Positive Personality Building is to develop Characters among children at especially early ages.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

Life skills are cognitive, emotional, interpersonal and social skills that enable individuals to deal effectively with the challenges of everyday life. Every day, worldwide, an estimated 227 children and youths (age 0–19 years) die as a result of interpersonal violence, and for each death many more are hospitalized with injuries from this violence. Factors such as poor social competence, low academic achievement, impulsiveness, truancy and poverty increase individuals’ risk of violence. Thus, developing children’s life skills, improving their participation and performance in school and increasing their prospects for employment can help protect them from violence, both in childhood and later in life.

Impact can be measure on long term basis, as trainings cover all the basic aspects of Life, such as self-awerness, coping with emotions, creative & critical thinking effective communication, problem solving and other important ones. Literature has supported the fact that Life Skills help in building positive characters and positive approach towards many fields of life, such as it reduces chances of Drug Abuse, chances of adolescent pregnancies by learning coping with stress and emotions respectively. As the project has started implementing at schools so it has build the effective approach towards problem solving, conflict & time management and providing new ways of effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Individuals who has taken training has been gone through the process of assessment which shows positive change in attitudes and mental health.

Life skills training improved social development, emotional adjustment, social adjustment, and finally this kind of skill training could increase the public health level and children and adolescence compatibility.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

the strict check and balance for the management of financial resources is present within the organization system. The project has solely its own resources and budget planning. for trainings sessions respected school becomes a member of Organization, fee worth of Rs pkr5000 and personal memberships of pkr1000. For overcoming any mishandling of resources external evaluators are attached for unbiased monitoring of budget and finance.

Founding Story

when the organization first deliver training in a small scale private school I experience a un-expressible joy and feelings of contentment because I get an astounding response from the administration of Schools and later my organization received invitation letters for more sessions to be held in various schools. This experience has led me to build a Team of Constructive and Innovative Minds. So by building a team the organization so far has Trained more than 2000 people within the targeted area.
