I will stick with the co-founder that has ties to this part of the World. Aisha Khadar Desince. I was born in Kono, a district in Sierra Leone know for its Diamonds. My parents were miner. Success came to them easy. I was raised in Freetown the capital city.
I spent most of my vacations with my grandmother in her villages called Jimmi and Senehum. Population both villages about 4000. I love these people some relatives other not but they all treated each other as family and that how I felt among them.
I remember my grandmother had more facilities than anyone in the villages, these facilites where provided for her by my parents, for example, running water, electricity fostered by generator, indoor plumbing, refrigerator, projector TV, inported furniture, a bakery, a general store. I have to remind you that this is Africa, villages, in the 1900's. All lost from the Blood Diamond war.I remember my grandmother supplying these villagers with bread, items from the general store, use of her running water, watching movies with the whole village on beautiful summer evening, without no or little finiancial imput from non of them and it never bothered her, she will say to me we are family God's family and we need to share. Now she passed away, then came the 11 year conflict Blood Diamond war, and all these have been taken away and the villagers have little or nothing to survive each and everyday. After the war I left the USA to see how my beloved villages were doing. It broke my heart to see the distruction. With a heavy heart I returned home to the USA and had to start Khadarlis.

Before khadarlis went into these villages, villagers were bombed out of their homes had little huts built out of small trees and bamboo leaves, with our intervention, we are building Mud, Mud/cement housing with windows, doors, roof, privacy. Home ownership is now visible for them.
We are at presently sending proposla to private, corporate, foundations to partner with to get our project to its goals.
