I am a travelled young orthopaedic surgeon from Norway, living in Sweden. I was brought up in Norway and Germany as a child. I attended The European School, Culham in the UK and I graduated with the International Baccalaureate from The International School of Geneva in 1994. I moved to Sweden to pursue medical school at the University of Lund and I am now working as an orthopaedic surgeon at the University Hospital Sahlgrenska in Gothenburg, Swden. I have an interest in ICT and eHealth. I am personally worried on the course of the future health care resources considering demography and health advances. I believe health empowerment to the citizen can be one of many possibilities to confront the futures health challenges. The key to the future eHealth solutions is the mobile telephone- mHealth I started my own mHealth company called iDoc24 in 2008, which specialises in mobile telephone solutions for healthcare. iDoc24 joined the incubater Stockholm Innovation & Growth (STING) in January 2010.
