Bio:
Bryan Chesoli is a young leader who is passionate about promoting inclusion and engagement of young people in social and economic development. He began this changemaking journey as a volunteer in a slum (informal settlement) in Nairobi back in 2014. Later on in the same year he founded Youth LITE Kenya, a student led organization that gives young people an opportunity to be industry consultants. This idea of promoting youth engagement in community development through private-public partnerships was then selected among the finalist in the Future Forward program by MasterCard Foundation. Since then, Bryan has worked with hundreds of young people across East Africa in a bid to build their capacity and inspire active citizenship. As a result of his work in advocating for the well-being of young people, he has received various commendations, including: Queen's Young Leaders Award (2016), Ashoka Africa Youth Champion, UNESCO Global Citizenship Award, Silver Medal UNLEASH 2017 among others. Bryan prides himself as a changemaker.
