Bio:
Edwlne Neto is architect and business owner. He has over four years of experience studying Cubatas, which are traditional houses of Sao Tome and Principe. He is the founder of Eneto - Architecture & Urbanism and Co-founder of Laboratory of Start Ups, Entrepreneurship, Promotion of Technology and Inovations (SeptiLab) which empower youth to become Entrepeneur and Icubate their Business. His architectural practice focuses on designing and build with local and alternative materials in order to provide low affordable house and improve the living conditions of people living in rural areas. Currentily he is developing projects base on Emmedue and Ecological Brick. Edwlne holds a master’s degree in Architecture from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), where he focused on maximizing the use and strategic flexibility of traditional architecture of Sao Tome “Cubata”.
