Title: Director of Development
Bio:
My work with the iF Foundation, is empowering me to help create a pathway out of poverty for families in the developing world through economic development. I have a special affection for rural communities where there are lots of children. Peaceful, basic and lots of opportunity to help improve livelihoods. I would like to see a world where all people have the opportunity to plan for their own futures with dignity through employment. When employed, people can then improve their own livelihoods and provide a better future for their families. I was the Founding Director for the Savannah Ronald McDonald House. During my tenure I developed extensive community collaborations creating a network of donors and volunteers to successfully provide program services while at the same time managing all financial and administrative policies for the organization. Also grew the organization from a single program to a successful multi-program non-profit charity. In addition to my work with the Ronald McDonald House, I was very involved with orphanage projects in Russia, Armenia, Honduras and Mexico. Currently, I am responsible for creating and implementing the development department for a New York based foundation which supports economic development projects in the developing world. We are currently focused on Haiti and Ghana.
