Eric Duffaut is president of Global Ecosystem and Channels. His charter is to accelerate the contribution of partners and channels to SAP’s overall success. This includes driving game changing co-innovation with SAP’s leading ecosystem of partners, accelerating growth of our Indirect Channel business, and ensuring high quality implementation services capacity across all market segments and geographies. Duffaut’s responsibility spans the entire partner ecosystem including system integrators, software and technology partners, resellers, distributors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), ISV’s and outsourcing partners as well as Inside Sales and the eChannel business. He reports to Rob Enslin, president Sales and member of SAP’s Global Managing Board. In April 2012, Eric was named a Corporate Officer of SAP AG by the SAP Executive Board. Prior to his current position, Duffaut served as global head of Small and Midsize Enterprises (SME) at SAP. In addition, he oversaw Indirect Channels across all market segments for SAP. Duffaut started his career at SAP in March 2005 as senior vice president of SME and Channels in EMEA. He was pivotal in designing the SAP global SME multi-channel go-to-market model and driving its successful implementation in EMEA. Duffaut successfully ran the SME field operations across EMEA and had the overall profit and loss responsibility for Iberia, Italy, Nordics, South East Europe and Middle East (SEME), and Central Europe. Before joining SAP, Duffaut spent 15 years at Oracle Corporation in various sales and sales leadership positions in the EMEA region. In his last post at Oracle, he was vice president of Sales Channels, responsible for Indirect Channel, OracleDirect and Online Sales. Duffaut holds a master’s degree in economics and finance, as well as a business degree. He also completed the advanced management program at the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).
