Jarius Andrew Greaves was born on April 10, 1987 originally from a small village in Grand Bassa County, South Eastern Liberia, a region where basic social services such as access to health care, education and road network are still a dream for the residents. Andrew is a passionate Social Activist, the Founder/Executive Director of the Youth Network for Reform, Inc. (YONER-LIBERIA), a Legal Local Youth NGO in Liberia. He is the Focal Person of the World Youth Alliance Africa (WYAA) in Liberia, and works with the Liberian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare/Liberia as an Intern Student/M&E Assistant. Andrew came as Semi-Finalist of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative 2014 Program. Andrew has being volunteering over the last ten years as a torchbearer and advocate for youth empowerment and local community engagement. Recently, in an effort to help fight against the spread of the deadly Ebola Virus disease in Liberia, Andrew through his organization has mobilized hundreds of youth volunteers, trained and deployed in various communities sensitizing residents on the modes of transmission and prevention as a positive step to break the chain of transmission. He is a 3rd Year Undergraduate Student of the Stella Maris Polytechnic in Liberia.
YONER-LIBERIA has been involved with Primary Waste Collection from households, and small businesses, buying and selling of Recyclables over a period of approximately two years in Paynesville City.
