I am the founder and director of the Association CAF, a peer to peer lending resource for immigrants in Spain. He holds a degree in Economics and a PHD in Business Administration. I was a founding partner and director of RBS Consultants consultant and director of Guatemala Mayan Treasures (award for best Latin American project to support indigenous communities). I am a professor at the University Ramon Llull in Barcelona and the Polytechnic University of Catalunya. I have lectured in Germany, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Sri Lanka and Venezuela. He is the author of "Global Economy and Development."

The Association for Self-Financed Communities (ACAF) is an NGO founded in 2004 that facilitates small cluster lending among communities. The SFC (Self-Financing Communities) model allows low income individuals access to micro credit while also building engaged communities. This methodology has proven that poor people can be self-bankable.
