Joseph Osuigwe is a Nigerian blogger, educator, author and social media strategist. He is the founder Devatop Centre for Africa Development, a youth-based human rights organization and also a founding editor of Global Notice Hub, an online platform that brings things to public notice in Africa. He is the initiator of The Academy for Prevention of Human Trafficking and Other Related Matters (TAPHOM). He has impacted over 5, 000 000 Nigerians through his Television show, media campaign and community projects. He is the author of Maximizing Your Brain Power…a pathway to becoming an intellectual giant, End Female Genital Mutilation Advocacy Toolkit, 12 Things To Do Before Leaving National Youth Service, and Anti-Human Trafficking Advocacy Booklet. He has engaged United Nations Office for Drug and Crime (UNODC) and United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in his organization’s projects. Joseph is leading one of the greatest movements of young people in promoting human rights. He has received several awards, including the Hero of Humanity Award and Humanitarian Award within 2017. He was one of the research presenters at the 2016 and 2017 International Social Justice Conference, University of Toledo, Ohio State, USA. Joseph has served has leader to so many youth groups in Nigeria, including Transformers Cell, Lifeline Campus, and Society Advancement Service. He holds Bachelor of Education in Mathematics from University of Nigeria Nsukka, and has obtained several certificates in Media and Information Literacy, Youth Dialogue, and Public Policy. His mandate is to empower young people to be agents of National Development in Africa, and he as mentored many on patriotism, community development, personal development, academic success, and social. On 25th March 2017, he was given National Unity Merit Award as a godly politician by Nigerian Christian Youth Political Platform. In 2015, he participated in Democracy Series for Participatory Learning and Actions By Youth an initiative of Youngstars Foundation Abuja and National Endowment for Democracy, Washington DC USA, and carried out a massive campaign on Vote With Out Violence in Federal Capital Territory. Joseph is a creative thinker and strategist. He uses 21st century approach to mobilize communities and young people toward achieving a particular goal.
