Bio:
Mizah Rahman is a designer and researcher based in Singapore with deep interests in participatory design and planning, community design and urban communities. She is also the co-founder of Participate In Design, a non-profit design organization dedicated to engaging and enabling people in shaping their everyday environments and local communities.
An architecture graduate from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Mizah today continues to be actively involved in the world of academia while also working the ground to pursue her passion for people-centric design solutions and social innovation. She also lends her time to various community organizations and has presented her work at various platforms including the World Architecture Festival in 2013.
