In Sri Lanka, 49% of the secondry school youth dropout before age 16. From 51% entering senior secondry level, only 13% become eligible to enter universities. The rest join the unemployed. Youth who studied science and commerce can enter business and technical collages to pursue technology and business vocational training for employment. At this point, the youth who studied traditional Art subjects (Language, History, Political Science, Art, Dance, Music etc) lack opportunities to their talented develop vocational skills needed for employment in industries which are digital today.
