Thaleon Tremain has more than 15 years of international and management experience with an emphasis on business development in Latin America. He holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin with concentrations in Entrepreneurial Studies and International Business. Awarded the Sasakawa Scholarship for International Studies, Thaleon completed a Double Degree Program at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, where he received a second MBA in 2000. In addition to working in England, Ireland, Mexico, Belize and Chile, Thaleon served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia where he managed a micro-credit program for a small-scale farmers’ cooperative. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration from Kalamazoo College in 1994 and has been working with Pachamama Coffee Cooperative since 2002. Thaleon was recently named one of three finalists for the National Resources Defense Council's 2009 Growing Green Award.
