My project is a brand new / emerging idea
Project Stage
Pilot-Stage (We’ve tried an activity or two)
Founding Story: What was the spark that led you to start your project? What was the "Aha!" moment that led you to get started and see the potential for this to succeed?
Growing up I've had several issues with my skin , most of the times I have no idea what it was and needed to go to a dermatologist, the process was always long and time consuming, gradually as I was in my final year in the university I had to come up with a project idea , then the skin reaction came up again , that's was the moment the idea came in that I could create a device that give diagnosis of skin issues and what caused it
The Problem: What problem are you helping to solve? Why does it matter to you and your community?
The problems I am helping to solve ; Time / financial constraints for people with skin issues Clarity on what their issues incase its cancerous or not Why it matters to me , honestly because it's embarrassing to have to ways cover your self with baggy cloths because your skin is reacting to something you know nothing about
Your Solution: How are you solving this problem? Share your specific solution.
The solution is AIDA , Autonomous Intelligence Dermatologist Assistance, it's a device that that you could interact with vocally to scan your skin and tell you what caused the reaction and it also informs you if the reaction is crucial for you to visit a Dermatologist
Impact: How has your project created impact / made a difference so far? Or, if at an early stage, what will impact look like?
Well so far it won an innovation competition that was made for business and creativity
Your Innovation: What is different about your project compared to other programs or solutions already out there? How is your project new or innovative?
The solutions out there have a subscription plan , once you've bout the device once you have it for life
How many people are on your team?
2
Your team: What role(s) do your team members play? How do you share leadership with them?
I am the CEO and the other person is the CTO , he is incharge of the programming aspect of things, I am incharge of the physical build
What’s Next: What are the next steps you plan to take to grow or strengthen your project over the next year? If your project is still in the idea stage, describe the steps you will take over the next three months to launch or begin developing it.
My next step is recreate the demo and to grow my community to be bigger so when launched we would already have a strong customer base for it , after doing that look for investors to aid in the scaling of the product
How do you encourage other people to join your project or learn about the problem you’re working on? If you have a new idea, tell us how you will do this in the future.
Robotics is Nigeria and in Africa has been looked down upon and with the fast growing SI software would be out of date and people would need to pivot to hardware , I am building the infrastructure for them to succeed in hardware in Africa, those that join this early are the best benefactors of the vision
