Founding Story: What was the spark that led you to start your project? What was the "Aha!" moment that led you to get started and see the potential for this to succeed?

I was going through the examples of project ideas on the application. And what really caught my eyes was the food insecurity and food access. So i decide to come up with an idea almost similar to it. Where we grow crops, harvest them, supply to the local retailers who sells them to earn extra income to expand their businesses. And all in all is to ensure steady supply of food in the market.

The Problem: What problem are you helping to solve? Why does it matter to you and your community?

I want to help the local retailers to expand their business and have a better living conditions. It matters to me because I would love to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor.

Your Solution: How are you solving this problem? Share your specific solution.

My idea is that the local retailers are able to be supplied with produce from the farms with no paying so that the money they would have used to pay for the produce they reinvest back to their businesses.

Impact: How has your project created impact / made a difference so far? Or, if at an early stage, what will impact look like?

I am hoping the local retailers will learn the concept of reinvesting to their business from the profits they earn. Since they will not be paying for the produce we hope they will reinvest more in their businesses.

The project will be applying existing solutions.

What’s Next: What are the next steps you plan to take to grow or strengthen your project over the next year? If your project is still in the idea stage, describe the steps you will take over the next three months to launch or begin developing it.

Activity includes: looking for a suitable land that is near the local retailers in the community. The goal is to reach out over 100 local retailers. Partnerships: To fund for the purchasing or renting of the land To finance the costs of growing the crops, harvesting and supplying them to the market. To finance the purchase of equipment.
