Founding Story: What was the spark that led you to start your project? What was the "Aha!" moment that led you to get started and see the potential for this to succeed?
We wanted to help the community, so we brainstormed ideas of charities we should help. We came to a Pop tab Fundraiser to help non profit charities in need. The scraps that we collect, would’ve been in a land fill, which is very bad for the environment. If we collect it we can give it to charities that can help families, animals and other things that are in need by just using metal scraps!
How do you encourage other people to join your project or learn about the problem you’re working on? If you have a new idea, tell us how you will do this in the future.
We could also get big posters for the fundraiser so more families can see. Also, we can get tables to have a presentation at school events. We would put up big posters for the fundraiser so more families can see. Also, we can get tables to have a presentation at school events.

Impact: How has your project created impact / made a difference so far? Or, if at an early stage, what will impact look like?
Collections help charities in need. We are not asking for money, we are just asking for things that would usually go to land fill.

What’s Next: What are the next steps you plan to take to grow or strengthen your project over the next year? If your project is still in the idea stage, describe the steps you will take over the next three months to launch or begin developing it.
With the money we could get safe and clean containers, to hold the pop tabs or scrap metals, also those containers can be used year after year and these containers can save lives.to hold the pop tabs or scrap metals.
Your Innovation: What is different about your project compared to other programs or solutions already out there? How is your project new or innovative?
Which is different because most fundraisers ask for money but we are the other way around and we are asking for trash to help families.
Your Solution: How are you solving this problem? Share your specific solution.
If we collect it we can give it to charities that can help families, animals and other things that are in need by just using metal scraps! We do a pop tab collection at our school, and collect as much as we can to help charities.
Your team: What role(s) do your team members play? How do you share leadership with them?
A teammate will go on the school announcements that are on daily. Someone else will go weigh the pop tabs to see how many pounds each bucket weighs and a team member will organize events to set up tables at.
