Project Stage

Growth (We’ve moved past the very first activities and are beginning to have consistent weekly or monthly impact)

Founding Story: What was the spark that led you to start your project? What was the "Aha!" moment that led you to get started and see the potential for this to succeed?

The spark behind the Prince Goodness Initiative came from my desire to see young people gain access to the education, mentorship, opportunities, and support they need to reach their full potential. Having experienced my own journey of growth, learning, and navigating challenges, I understand how much guidance and encouragement can influence a young person’s future. I believe that talent exists everywhere, but access to opportunities and the right support systems does not. Many young people have great ideas, dreams, and abilities but lack the resources, mentorship, or environment to turn them into meaningful impact. Rather than simply wishing for change, I decided to take responsibility for creating it. This conviction inspired me to establish the Prince Goodness Initiative, a youth-focused initiative committed to education, mentorship, advocacy, community service, and humanitarian interventions. My vision extends beyond helping individuals succeed. I want to build a community where young people are empowered to recognise their potential, develop their abilities, support one another, and become changemakers in their own communities. The initiative is rooted in a simple belief: young people should not have to wait until they become successful or influential before they can make a difference. With the right support, they can begin creating meaningful change today.

The Problem: What problem are you helping to solve? Why does it matter to you and your community?

Prince Goodness Initiative addresses the limited access many young people have to quality mentorship, educational support, opportunities for personal development, and platforms where they can contribute meaningfully to society. Across many communities, young people have the potential to become innovators, and problem-solvers, yet many lack the guidance, exposure, resources, and support systems required to turn their potential into impact. Some have ambitions but do not know where to begin, while others have ideas but lack the encouragement and opportunities to develop them. These challenges can limit their confidence, growth, and ability to contribute to their communities. This problem matters to me because I believe young people should not be disadvantaged by a lack of access to guidance and opportunities. I understand the importance of learning, personal development, and having the courage to pursue meaningful goals. I also believe that young people should be seen not merely as beneficiaries of change but as active participants in creating it. Through the Prince Goodness Initiative, I am working to bridge this gap through education, mentorship, advocacy, community service, and humanitarian interventions. Our goal is to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, discover their abilities, and use their knowledge and skills to address challenges around

Your Solution: How are you solving this problem? Share your specific solution.

Through the Prince Goodness Initiative (P.G.I.), I am addressing these challenges by creating practical opportunities for young people to access mentorship, personal development, & community engagement. Our approach is built around five key areas: education, mentorship, advocacy, community service, and humanitarian interventions. First, we connect young people with guidance and learning opportunities that help them develop relevant skills, build confidence, and make informed decisions about their futures. Through mentorship, we encourage them to set goals, overcome challenges, and take practical steps towards achieving their aspirations. Second, we organise educational programmes, conferences, and developmental activities that expose participants to new ideas, experienced speakers, and practical knowledge they can apply in their everyday lives. For instance, our conference, Redefining the Standards of Consistency, brings together speakers and young people to discuss discipline, consistency, personal growth, and lasting impact. Third, we create platforms for young people to learn from one another, share ideas, develop their abilities, and build supportive relationships. We believe that access to a supportive community can help young people remain accountable and motivated as they work towards their goals. Through advocacy and community service, we also encourage young people to recognise social challenges around them and take responsibility for contributing to solutions. Our humanitarian focus extends this commitment to supporting people and communities in need. The initiative has already begun building a community of over 250 young people and supporting more than 25 mentees. These early steps provide a foundation for expanding our reach, strengthening

Impact: How has your project created impact / made a difference so far? Or, if at an early stage, what will impact look like?

The Prince Goodness Initiative is at an early stage, but we have begun building a community and creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and connect. So far, our community has grown to over 250 young people, and I have supported more than 25 mentees through mentorship and personal development. These milestones reflect the interest young people have in finding guidance, accessing opportunities, and connecting with others who share their desire to grow. One of our approaches to creating impact is organising developmental programmes that encourage practical learning. Our conference, Redefining the Standards of Consistency, brings together four speakers and young participants to explore discipline, personal growth, consistency, and meaningful impact. For me, impact is not measured by numbers alone. It is also about helping a young person recognise their potential, develop useful skills, make informed decisions, and gain the confidence to pursue opportunities they previously considered impossible. My long-term goal is to build a sustainable platform that empowers young people to improve their lives and become changemakers in their communities. I will measure our progress through the people reached, opportunities created, and tangible changes resulting from our programmes.

Your Innovation: What is different about your project compared to other programs or solutions already out there? How is your project new or innovative?

What makes the Prince Goodness Initiative different is our focus on moving young people from inspiration to action and from personal growth to community impact. Many programmes focus on a single area, such as education, skills acquisition, or mentorship. P.G.I. takes an integrated approach by combining education, mentorship, advocacy, community service, and humanitarian interventions within one youth-focused initiative. This allows us to address different barriers that prevent young people from reaching their potential while encouraging them to use their growth to benefit others. Another distinctive feature is our use of accessible digital platforms to connect young people, facilitate mentorship, and organise developmental programmes without making physical location the only determinant of participation. Through virtual conferences and community engagement, we can bring young people together with experienced speakers and mentors, creating opportunities for learning and collaboration across geographical boundaries. For example, our conference, Redefining the Standards of Consistency, uses shared learning and practical conversations to help participants understand how discipline and consistency translate into personal development and meaningful impact. P.G.I. is still developing, but our innovation lies in combining these approaches into an accessible platform that connects personal development with social responsibility. Rather than measuring success only by the number of people who attend our programmes, we want to build a culture in which young people apply what they learn, support others, and initiate solutions to problems around them.

How many people are on your team?

Your team: What role(s) do your team members play? How do you share leadership with them?

I lead the Prince Goodness Initiative, supported by a trustee and other excos e.g General Secretary, the vice president, who contribute to our activities and programmes. I provide strategic direction, identify opportunities, and coordinate initiatives, while encouraging shared input, collaboration, and collective responsibility. As P.G.I. grows, I intend to build a diverse team with clear roles in mentorship, education, advocacy, programme coordination, and community outreach.

What’s Next: What are the next steps you plan to take to grow or strengthen your project over the next year? If your project is still in the idea stage, describe the steps you will take over the next three months to launch or begin developing it.

First, I intend to expand our mentorship programme, connecting more young people with mentors who can guide them in education, career development, leadership, and personal growth. I also plan to introduce regular follow-ups to monitor participants’ progress. Second, I aim to organise more educational developmental programmes that equip young people with practical knowledge, relevant skills, and confidence. Through digital platforms and strategic outreach, I want to extend our reach beyond our existing community. Third, I plan to establish partnerships with educational institutions, youth organisations, & fellow changemakers to access expertise, resources, and opportunities for more effective programmes. I also intend to strengthen our community service and humanitarian interventions by identifying specific community needs and developing practical responses. Finally, I will work towards introducing stronger impact measurement systems to track the number of young people reached, and community projects completed. Having built a community of over 250 young people & supported more than 25 mentees, I see the coming year as an opportunity to deepen our impact, expand our reach, and establish sustainable structures. My goal is to build a platform where young people develop their potential and use their abilities to create positive, lasting change in their communities.

How do you encourage other people to join your project or learn about the problem you’re working on? If you have a new idea, tell us how you will do this in the future.

I encourage people to join PGI by sharing our vision, creating awareness about youth development, and providing opportunities for young people to participate in meaningful activities. Through our digital community, I share educational opportunities, and organise programmes that expose young people to practical knowledge. Our conference, Redefining the Standards of Consistency, brings participants together to learn from experienced speakers, exchange ideas, and understand how they can create meaningful change. So far, we have built a community of over 250 young people, and I have supported more than 25 mentees through mentorship and personal development. These are important early steps towards building a network of young people committed to growth, leadership, and community impact. I also encourage participation by showing young people that changemaking does not require wealth or influence. Everyone can contribute through their skills, ideas, time, and willingness to support others. Over the next year, I plan to expand our outreach through social media, partnerships with educational institutions and youth organisations. I also want participants to share what they learn, introduce others to opportunities, and initiate community projects. My goal is to build a network of young changemakers who work together to address challenges and create lasting impact
