Project Stage
Idea (We’re hoping to get started in the future)
Founding Story: What was the spark that led you to start your project? What was the "Aha!" moment that led you to get started and see the potential for this to succeed?
The idea behind Zenith Achievers Initiative grew from the belief that young people have enormous potential, but potential alone is not always enough to achieve meaningful growth. Many students, graduates, and young professionals need more than ambition. They need career clarity, access to opportunities, mentorship, leadership development, and a supportive community that encourages them to take intentional steps towards their goals. We wanted to create a platform where young people could discover their strengths, develop practical skills, connect with opportunities, and learn to turn their potential into purposeful impact. This belief inspired Zenith Achievers Initiative, built around the idea that when one young person grows and creates positive change, the impact can extend to others and the wider community. Our goal is to help young people move beyond intention into action, equipping them to learn, grow, lead, and make a difference wherever they find themselves.
The Problem: What problem are you helping to solve? Why does it matter to you and your community?
Many young people have the potential to achieve remarkable things, but they lack access to the information, opportunities, guidance, and connections needed to turn that potential into progress. Students, graduates, and young professionals often struggle to identify suitable career paths, discover scholarships and internships, access mentorship, and find opportunities to develop their skills and leadership abilities. Even when opportunities exist, some young people may not know where to find them or how to position themselves to take advantage of them. We recognized the need for a platform that goes beyond encouraging young people to dream. They also need access to practical resources, relevant information, and communities that support their growth. This matters because a lack of access should not prevent young people from discovering their capabilities or pursuing meaningful opportunities. When young people have the right information and support, they are better positioned to make informed decisions, develop their skills, and contribute to society. Zenith Achievers Initiative was created in response to this need. We want to help bridge the gap between potential and opportunity by creating a platform where young people can gain clarity, career development, access and opportunities.
Your Solution: How are you solving this problem? Share your specific solution.
Zenith Achievers Initiative (ZAI) is a youth-focused initiative designed to help students, graduates, and young professionals move from potential to purposeful impact through career clarity, opportunities, mentorship, leadership development, and community. Our approach begins with building an online community where young people can access relevant information, discover opportunities, connect with others, and participate in activities that support their personal and professional development. Our planned activities include: Opportunity sharing: Providing information about scholarships, internships, fellowships, training programmes, competitions, and other opportunities that can help young people advance. Career clarity sessions: Creating opportunities for young people to explore career paths, understand their interests, identify their strengths, and make informed decisions about their futures. Speaker sessions and mentorship: Inviting experienced professionals, leaders, and other knowledgeable individuals to share insights, lessons, and practical guidance that young people can apply to their journeys. Public speaking and leadership development: Providing learning opportunities that help young people strengthen their communication, confidence, and leadership abilities. Career and personal development masterclasses: Organizing educational sessions focused on relevant skills, professional growth, personal positioning, and navigating opportunities. Through these activities, we aim to connect young people with information, people, and resources that can support their development. Our goal is not simply to help young people find opportunities but also to equip them with the clarity, knowledge, and
Impact: How has your project created impact / made a difference so far? Or, if at an early stage, what will impact look like?
Zenith Achievers Initiative is currently in the development stage, preparing to launch its online community and initial programmes. We are not yet claiming measurable programme outcomes, but we have established a clear direction for the impact we want to create. Our goal is to help students, graduates, and young professionals gain access to opportunities, make more informed career decisions, develop practical skills, and build the confidence to pursue their goals. In our initial stage, we plan to establish an online community, share relevant opportunities, organize career clarity sessions, invite speakers, and introduce public speaking and career development masterclasses. We intend to assess our progress through the number of young people who join and actively participate in the community, engagement in learning sessions, access to shared opportunities, feedback from participants, and examples of members applying what they learn. Beyond participation numbers, we want to see young people make clearer career decisions, develop useful skills, pursue opportunities they might otherwise have missed, and become more willing to contribute to their communities. We believe the impact of ZAI can extend beyond individual participants. A young person who gains useful knowledge, discovers an opportunity, or develops a valuable skill can use that growth to support others.
Your Innovation: What is different about your project compared to other programs or solutions already out there? How is your project new or innovative?
Zenith Achievers Initiative aims to connect several important aspects of youth development within one supportive platform. Young people may find career information in one place, scholarship announcements in another, and leadership or personal development resources elsewhere. However, finding information alone does not always provide the clarity, guidance, or support needed to act on it. ZAI is being developed to bring these elements together through an online community that connects opportunity sharing with career clarity, personal development, mentorship, and leadership learning. Our approach recognizes that young people need more than access to opportunities. They also need to understand their options, develop the skills required to pursue them, and connect with people who can help them navigate their journeys. Through career clarity sessions, speaker engagements, public speaking activities, and masterclasses, we intend to create opportunities for young people to learn, ask questions, exchange ideas, and develop practical capabilities. We also want to encourage young people to move beyond receiving support to becoming contributors who share knowledge, collaborate with others, and use their growth to create positive change. As an emerging initiative, we will refine our activities based on participants' needs and feedback. Our distinguishing approach is the connection between access, clarity, development, and impact. We want to help young people not only discover opportunities but also develop the capacity to pursue them and create opportunities for others.
How many people are on your team?

Your team: What role(s) do your team members play? How do you share leadership with them?
Our team consists of seven people: the founder, co-founder, and five board members. Together, we shape ZAI's direction, develop its structure, and prepare for launch. We work collaboratively, sharing responsibilities according to our roles and strengths. As the initiative grows, we plan to bring more members on board to strengthen our capacity and expand our impact.
What’s Next: What are the next steps you plan to take to grow or strengthen your project over the next year? If your project is still in the idea stage, describe the steps you will take over the next three months to launch or begin developing it.
Over the next three months, our priority is to move Zenith Achievers Initiative from the idea stage to the launch of a structured and engaging youth development community. First, we will establish our online community and strengthen our digital presence, particularly on LinkedIn, to introduce ZAI to students, graduates, and young professionals who can benefit from our work. Second, we will begin sharing verified opportunities, including scholarships, internships, fellowships, training programmes, and career development resources, to help young people make informed decisions about their future. Third, we plan to organize introductory career clarity sessions, interactive discussions, and virtual masterclasses featuring experienced speakers and professionals who can share practical knowledge and guidance. We will also identify potential mentors, student communities, youth organizations, and professionals for future partnerships and collaborations. Within our team, we will define responsibilities, develop a practical activity plan, and establish ways to gather feedback from participants. Our goal is to build a strong foundation, attract our first community members, and begin providing accessible opportunities for learning, growth, and connection. We will use feedback from these early activities to improve our approach and guide ZAI's future development.
How do you encourage other people to join your project or learn about the problem you’re working on? If you have a new idea, tell us how you will do this in the future.
Zenith Achievers Initiative plans to engage young people by building an online community where they can connect, learn, discover opportunities, and participate in activities that support their growth. We intend to use social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to introduce ZAI, share valuable information, and reach students, graduates, and young professionals who could benefit from our initiative. Our engagement activities will include sharing scholarships, internships, fellowships, and training opportunities; organizing career clarity sessions and masterclasses; and inviting speakers to share practical insights on career development, leadership, and personal growth. Beyond sharing information, we want to encourage active participation through discussions, questions, peer learning, and interactive sessions. This will help us understand the challenges young people face and shape our activities around their needs. As we grow, we plan to build relationships with student communities, youth organizations, mentors, professionals, and potential partners who can help us reach more young people. Our goal is to create a community where young people access valuable information, build meaningful connections, develop their abilities, and use what they learn to create positive change beyond themselves.
